通草的別名。 即丁翁。 又名丁公寄。
《南齊書‧孝義傳上‧樂頤》： “﹝ 解仲恭 ﹞母病經時不差， 入山採藥， 遇一老翁語之曰： ‘得丁公藤， 病立愈。 ’”《南史‧孝義傳上‧解叔謙》： “﹝ 謙 ﹞乃求訪至 宜都郡 ， 遙見山中一老公伐木， 問其所用， 答曰： ‘此丁公藤， 療風尤驗。 ’”
